STEPPERS ONLY based in Oakland California is an
organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and
teaching the art of Chicago Style Steppin in it's
purest form.
The art of "STEPPIN" is rooted in dances of the
1920's such as the Lindy Hop, the Jitter Bug, and
Swing dancing. Originally called "Bopping" "STEPPIN"
has evolved into a uniquely graceful and
sophisticated art form unto it's self.
While nationally recognized, the art of "STEPPIN" is
experiencing a boom of interest here in Oakland and
the Greater Bay Area. Under the leadership of it's
founder Damone Hodges, STEPPERS ONLY seeks to
establish it's self as the premier "STEPPIN"
authority in Northern California.
