Damone: (Founder/Lead Instructor) began dancing in November of 2003. He became interested in Chicago Stepping earlier that year when he witnessed a couple stepping at a local club. Damone is a former member of M.A.K 3 Dance Club and has been dancing for 4 years. He was trained by Dave Maxx and Calvin Barnes and has been teaching for 4 years. Damone's leadership and experience has helped Chicago Stepping thrive in the Bay Area.

Malik:(Co-Founder/Instructor) became
 interested in Chicago Stepping when Damone contacted him about his plan to create a stepping community in the Bay Area. Malik is a former member of M.A.K 3 Dance Club and has been dancing since November of 2003. He was trained by Dave Maxx and Calvin Barnes and has been teaching for 4 years. Malik's leadership and experience has helped Chicago Stepping thrive in
                                                         the Bay Area.  

Renita: (Instructor) began Stepping in November of 2003.She traveled often to Chicago with Damone and Malik, helping them to practice their moves and confirm their instructions. Renita has been one of the many reasons Chicago Stepping exist in the Bay Area.  

Dianne: (Assistant Instructor) began  Stepping in June of 2006. She was invited to a class by a friend . After seeing the instructional video " Steppin Around the World" She knew this was a dance she wanted to lean. Soon she was taking classes with Damone and Malik.

Her dedication & commitment has set the standard of excellence expected from all of our students.

Carolyn: (Assistant Instructor) began her training in August of 2006. She was inspired to learn stepping when she saw a group of steppers at the Berkeley Jazz Festival in 2006.Immediately Carolyn began to take classes with Damone and Malik.
